Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Italy (Rome): Led by His Eminence, Angelo Cardinal Bagnasco, the President, the Conference adopted this project, and became our first and most enthusiastic partner enabling us to procure the land for the university. Msgr Pierluigi Vacchelli and his successor as the President of ‘CEI Committee for Charitable Works,’ Msgr Giovanni Battista Gandolfo, were instrumental in piloting the process. We stand indebted to them, and look forward to their continued support.

Salesians of Don Bosco Headquarters (Rome): Fr Pascual Villanueva Chavez (Rector Major) and his Council not only saw merit in this project and approved it, but also became our constant guides in the execution of this project – questioning, challenging, prodding, correcting, encouraging – playing a multi-faceted role in addition to supporting the Project with the necessary funds at crucial moments through the Salesian Procure at Madrid, Spain (Director – Fr Augustin Pacheco), and Salesian Missions New Rochelle, USA (Director – Fr Mark Hyde).

Leopold Bachmann Foundation (Zurich): Leopold Bachmann Stiftung has evinced keen interest in the Don Bosco University Project with a combination of grants and soft loans with an eye to the eventual self-sustainability of the project. They continue to be engaged with us with support for areas involving ecological concerns, productive use of the university land and starting of entrepreneurial projects. Mr Leopold Bachmann, Dr Regina Bachmann and Dr Albert Kesseli stand tall on our ‘Honour List’.
